A multi-affiliate asset manager retained HomeTree Digital’s digital advertising services to assist with their six-month LinkedIn brand awareness and lead generation campaigns. After establishing client goals, the teams worked together to enhance the firm’s presence on social media, better position their messaging and organic strategy. The target audience was financial advisors within the US and the distribution channel was LinkedIn. Projected numbers were assembled, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) were identified as traffic to website and contact gathering through form submissions. This included landing page form submissions and lead form ads through LinkedIn.
Solution
HomeTree Digital’s team of digital marketing innovators immediately developed a comprehensive LinkedIn sponsored strategy that included mapped out user journey layers, retargeting campaigns, an integrated landing page, and significant measurement of results. The LinkedIn tracking tag was installed, target audience criteria defined, and A/B Testing parameters set. HomeTree Digital worked closely with the asset manager’s Email Marketing agency and made recommendations on the follow-up emails required to adequately engage with the leads generated and nurture them through the sales funnel with the end-goal of converting them into a client. Throughout the entire campaign the team monitored the progress and worked closely with the asset manager to re-focus efforts on the audiences, messaging, and creative that provided the strongest results.
Weekly reports where produced that provided an in-depth analysis of the progress of the campaigns and if goals where being met, which kept the asset manager informed every step of the process and provided visibility of positive and negative outcomes along the way.
Results
The campaigns ran for six months on a mid-level budget and served 839,856 impressions through Lead Generation focused LinkedIn Ads. The campaign also saw drove 4,452 unique visitors to the website and generated 108 qualified leads. During the same period the Brand Awareness campaign served 4,014,630 impressions and 34,764 unique users to the website. The Cost-Per-Click (CPC) had a 43% increase over projected numbers. The Email Marketing was not managed as part of the services rendered by HomeTree Digital.
